love is for all of us

Stop telling yourself you should look like her

Stop forcing yourself to be like him

Stop convincing yourself that they’re better than you

Stop coming to the conclusion that you’re not good enough .

She has something you don’t

But you have something she doesn’t

His limbs works in ways yours don’t

But your mind works in ways his doesn’t .

There’s never a better or worse

There’s only a difference

Because how can you compare yourself to others

When there’s not a single person who is completely like you .

If you’re making a comparison, compare every aspect

Then you’ll realize

That you don’t have to look like her because you’re the best looking you

You don’t have to be like him because you’re at your best when you do you

There is never a better or worse because everyone is so different

Each and every one of us is enough because we are a gift we are given .

We treat our friends like kings and queens, crowning them with words of gold

And are sad when they don’t realize their beauty no matter how many times they have been told

But we treat ourselves so unforgivingly, like we don’t deserve the same love

We treat ourselves so disrespectfully, because deep down we believe we’re not enough .

We fail to love ourselves the way we shower love on others

We fail to understand ourselves the way we try to do others

Because we fail to realize that no matter how many needs they might have

We have needs too

Because we fail to realize that love is something everyone deserves, regardless of talents, qualities or looks.

We fail to realize that love is for all of us,

me and you.
